ALS Leadership Salon

April 13, 2015

ABOUT THE EVENT

Our inaugural Leadership Salon went behind-the-scenes on some of the most viral campaigns of our time: #IceBucketChallenge and #SFBatkid. We heard straight from the Development and Chapter Officer at the ALS Association about his experience of Ice Bucket Challenge, from the Founder and Chief Evangelist at Clever Girls Collective, which helped SF Batkid become a viral success, and the Vice President of Corporate Citizenship & Philanthropy at Blackbaud to talk about Millennials and philanthropy. The event brought together nonprofit & philanthropic leaders to explore the intersection of social media, social change and philanthropy from these fundraising events. You can learn from the event from this Storify recap or these quick video interviews of nonprofit leaders and speakers.

An investment in Social Media for Nonprofits can allow your organization to connect to our incredible network of nonprofit social media and MarCom practitioners, CEOs, board members, directors, and consultants. #SM4NP participants are the precise decision-makers that sponsors and exhibitors need to reach. Their work ranges from fighting hunger to ending child slavery, but they’re united by a fierce desire to master the resources, tools, and knowledge they need to better serve their community. Apply
