Guy Kawasaki on Art of Social Media
Guy Kawasaki is the chief evangelist of Canva, an online, graphics-design service, trustee of the Wikimedia Foundation, and executive fellow at the Haas School of Business at U.C. Berkeley. Formerly, he was an advisor to the Motorola business unit of Google and chief evangelist of Apple. He is the author of The Art of the Start 2.0, The Art of Social Media, Enchantment, and ten other books. Guy has a BA from Stanford University and an MBA from UCLA as well as an honorary doctorate from Babson College.

We are excited to host Guy Kawasaki for the second event of our Leadership Salon Series in a conversation about how nonprofit leaders can leverage social media marketing to build their personal and professional brand. He’ll share practical tips and tactics from his book “Art of Social Media: Power Tips for Power Users.” He is an accomplished author of many best-selling titles, a social media force and evangelist for Canva. Join him to hear how nonprofit leaders and organizations can leverage social to rise above the noise and mobilize support for their causes. The Leadership Salon Series brings together nonprofit & philanthropic leaders to explore the intersection of social media, social change and philanthropy. The format is a one-hour program with remarks by Guy Kawasaki, followed by questions from the audience.
